I assume those are single-family homes...by the sea...not much of a beach, though it certainly is a fantastic view!

@Jacob: the white, sandy, wild, untamed and free of building beach isn't far away!
@VP: these are typical houses for Brittany/Bretagne, not the southern French type. The boat?
