Inside Ecouen castle, France, 2008

Ecouen castle is now the national Renaissance museum of France.

It would be nice to see some of these near home, but then there would be less excuse to travel. This is enchanting!

Very interesting! What in the world was a room like this used for? At first I thought there were dining tables interspersed with benches, but that made no sense.

Kinda spooky, too.
