Coulon, Deux-Sèvres, France, 2005

Old scanned photo.
Though it has NOTHING to do with Coulon, here's a little extra for Vogon Poet. Je suis damnée...

First time I am commenting with a personalized soundtrack (playing in another session): I was introduced to opera by a group of 'Callas widowers' (she was still alive in Paris, but retired) and I still bear that mark. She will be the best forever. Grazie!
Another picture like a painting, the framing with the flowers is lovely and the reflection in the greenish water faint but beautiful.

I knew her fame.
However, I heard the voice for the first time.

Thank you for telling splendid music.

What a beautiful scene. Another one of your photos that looks like a painting.

It really does look like a painting. The shapes of the boats are somehow too perfect, like an image in a 1950s magazine. Maria Callas: I also knew only her name. Thank you for this!

Thanks so much for this beautiful soundtrack while enjoy this picture and your blog.
It reminds me my father. He died in 98 but it keeps hurting inside my heart.I miss him so much...We use to listen opera together -in his old vinyl. This opera is outstanding!
Thanks a lot!

Beautifully composed shot of a no less beautiful spot. Love the canna plants in the foreground.
And of course, it's allways great listening to 'La Callas'!
