Very good perspective view of this impressive row of houses. Former dwellings of miners? The small patches of color can't break the overwhelming sadness of this picture...
This certainly has the feel of an "old" photo...and it reeks of age-old poverty and hardship...
Very well captured!
My Internet connection has become intermittent and disappears for hours...I lost it last night before I could comment on this...anyway, if I suddenly don't show up for awhile, that's the reason.

Wow, very cool. I think the scanning adds character and artistic coloring.

I absolutely love the row of homes on the left. What a great angle and photo. I'd love to walk this street.
@ VP: yes, mining valley.

I just love that village look. Feels so welcoming.
Hi Ciel, this is a tall order as to where it is. There's no features that I recognise, it could be any where from Porth upwards.....any clues? Dave
Thinking about it again if you were just driving along and keeping to the main road then it could possibly be Treorchy or Treherbert.
It may be old and scanned (many on my travel blog also are...), but I just love the colours!
