Well, the morning mood with the sunshine is a bit more upbeat, which is natural, but I also like the evening mood, which is calm and serene - conducive to settling down and resting the inner person...
I like both but the morning mood has a bit more contrast. What about early morning and late afternoon when the sun is low and the light is warm? Worth a try next time.
I like them both--the morning because the blue is so beautiful and the foliage in the sun is so warmly yellow, and the evening because the reflections are so clear.
Isn't that interesting. To my eye/brain the evening mood to the left has a shallow even glassed out reflection. Whereas the morning mood above seems to travel down down down into the water.
Certainly the vibrancy of the morning mood "pops", but I can see myself strolling with a lover in the evening mood ~ settling in for a nice romantic picnic and await sunset. Damn ~ I need a mate :-)
What I love best is that you took them both and offered a choice! Very fun.

Especially love the depth of blue reflection in the first photo!
I prefer the morning version as the blues "pop" so much more!
The morning one suits my taste. The blue is so calming.

Lovely combination.
Both are splendid!
Beautiful colours and reflections!

Late afternoon, evening, night. Everything but the morning! Both photos are gorgeous, though. Maybe, the morning, in this case, is slightly better...
These are both beautiful, I prefer the mood of the evening shot. But the blue in the morning shot is gorgeous. Kathy
These are lovely. I particularly like the reflection of the blue sky in the first one.
Beautiful Quebec! This makes me feel so proud of Canada. :)
Both evoke lovely feelings of a peaceful place. The morning one is my vote.
Really a big difference.
I enjoyed your comment on my airport post. Here's hoping it will be!
I would prefer the "morning mood" because of the day ahead :-) but after having clicked on each one I choose the evening mood... Go and figure out...
I like them both, though i do love the light in the morning photo....

It is a reflection of wonderful colors.
Thank you for showing a beautiful view.
They're both nice, aren't they? In this case, I like the color in the morning photo, but the evening looks so peaceful.
Well, the morning 'blue' water is just gorgeous!
