I wonder what the "saint" is supposed to be saying? Probably warning people of the consequences of being outside the church? :-)
I always wonder at the pose of these Saints in a niche, and this one is much better than something we have around here.

This arch is wonderful and the sculpture of the Saint is adorable, really beautiful!

Doesn't matter what the saint wants to express - it's a BEAUTIFUL DOORWAY!
