My camera seems to have become an extension of my amateur photographer eyes! All photos prior to 2007 are scanned and were taken with a Fuji camera.

Wonderfully composed. Love this shot for the lines of the buildings, the colors, the crumpled flag...it's marvelous!

Re your comment on Colorado: These women were working as crew on a road repair - one side of the highway was closed down...so they stopped us to let other cars go by. I got into a conversation, told them about our blog and asked if I could take their photo and they obliged smilingly. Very nice people!

That's the flag of the contrada della Civetta (Little Owl Ward). They won the Palio dell'Assunta (the August race) in 2009.
