At first glance, the bridge looks angular yet the reflection is curved. If you look back at the structure, the beam is angular on the top and curved on the bottom.
I suspect the height of the bridge is to allow sailboats to pass?
The first thing I saw in the old plaster was a butterfly, but I can see angel wings too.
WOW! The reflection of this unusual footbridge is striking...and the bridge itself is so unique. I would love walking up and over it and then back down. A nicely composed shot and a great capture.
«Louis» didn't recognize this bridge, but this image looks to «Louis» as if it is over Canal Saint Martin. You sent «Louis» looking at his plan de Paris - and his guess was right. Amazingly, when he lived in Paris, he never saw Canal Saint Martin though he lived very near it.
hee hee... You went for it today - a Sunday Bridge on both your blogs!
It's nice to see temps around the world on your sidebar. I have a home page on my hard drive with temperatures of places I track, and it's funny how often Paris and Astoria are about the same.

It would be nice to climb up this bridge just for the view!

A bridge and its reflections. Very nicely done!
I suppose the wire cover on the bridge is to keep people from jumping into the river, right?
Very nice reflection...er...bridge shot. :) So this one is high for boats to go under. Does that men the next one is a lift bridge?

I want to walk along the side of this river to see it all in person. It looks a bit complicated, but I'm sure it isn't really.
Interestingly unique, at least I've never seen this form of a bridge before. As EG Wow asked, I ask too, does the second bridge lift up?
Great bridge and reflection. Beautiful capture.

super shot. I love the reflection perfection. LOL It looks like a big mouth. MB
Way to go with a fantastic shot. The reflection adds so much more to the photo.
the reflection makes it like a rugby ball.
It reminds me a little of the Halfpenny Bridge in Dublin. The white building on the left of the shot is very pretty; they must have a great view.
je connais pas ce coin là! c'est sympa!
i like the reflection in this!
A nice footbridge and a very good impressionist reflection on the water...
Perfect shot, the bridge is beautiful!
