I'd never heard of Chihuly glass until I started photo blogging. Now I hear about it all time and have seen a number of photos of various Chihuly pieces. This is a variation on the theme, though. Very interesting and charming even though I can't quite figure out the point.
Chihuly made a chandelier for our art museum in Wichita, Kansas--it is huge and absolutely amazing. He also made a "floor" that is glass covered, but you can walk over all of his mavelous creations. Mickie :)

Congrats on the award...and showcasing blue fire.
Chihuly is an amazing artist and I love how you caught the light and shadows here. Congrats on your award.

Please forgive me, but I really can't stand that tinted glass with the funny name...
Great shot with the light coming through.
