I'm really not much of a filmer and the VERY poor quality is here to show it but I thought this would give you a general idea before I continue posting photos of the medieval fair at Pont-Croix, held during Easter weekend 2009. The church, Notre-Dame de Roscudon, is a typical example of granite churches in this region of France. Typical and beautiful.
Please excuse the presence of a (bad) video on what is essentially a photo blog.

The 'bad' video is absolutely worth viewing and if Notre-Dame de Roscudon is a typical example of church in Finistère, please show us many others! This façade decorated with a 'wheels within wheels' motive is fascinating.
I like the video...are bagpipes a traditional instrument in France?
The pictures of the architecture are great too!
What a beautiful architecture.

@ That is the chicken: yes, bagpipes are very much a traditional instrument in the Celtic westernmost part of France called Brittany. The large bagpipe ("biniou braz" in Breton) was imported from Scotland at some stage but there's also the "biniou kozh", the local small bagpipe that has existed for centuries.
The video is great! The architecture is fantastic !
Great pictures!
