This looks familiar... I like more this Italy than the one I posted yesterday. Lucca is a jewel of a city!

Nice! I hope someday to put my Italy photos on my blog. Meanwhile, I'm enjoying visiting Italy with you. I love that place!

I've been curious about your name. Ciel de is "sky of," right? What is Quimper? It sounds familiar, but I couldn't find it online. Nice name, but ???

My mistake was that I looked up Quimper in an online French dictionary - not on Google! It's also a Peruvian-born spanish Explorer, after whom the Peninsula in Washington was named. Also faince! You chose a good name for someone who likes interesting/beautiful things and travel. Now I know! About the music. I do enjoy certain classical a lot. I am not big on the heavy symphonies. I think my first symphony was Mahler. I used to listen to a lot more classical than I do now, but if it sounds beautiful to me, I love it, no matter what it is. I have clearly spent too many hours on the computer these past few years. Oh, well :) Everything goes in cycles.

Sorry, that should be faience (pottery).

Those mushrooms are called porcini, common Italian name for the Boletus edulis.

I think things are mushrooming in Tuscany! There are three significant things about this shot: 1) the plethora of mushrooms, 2) the women, and 3) the setting.

When we lived in Pennsylvania, we learned it was a big mushroom-growing center.

Here in Ocala, at certain times of the year, we get mushrooms (some huge) that pop up overnight all over the yard. It's not really a problem as I either knock 'em down or mow 'em down.
