My camera seems to have become an extension of my amateur photographer eyes! All photos prior to 2007 are scanned and were taken with a Fuji camera.

Sainte Marie-Madeleine Basilica, Vézelay, Burgundy, France, 2009
@VP: this is the most dangerous place... ;-) It is also a fascinating building with an incredible history. It was consecrated in 1132. For those who are interested, read more about this UNESCO world heritage site by clicking here.
I'll wear knee-pads and an helmet if I ever dare to go there. Wonderful place and great photo (at what price!), I am following the link and have already seen something interesting there.

I think, VP, you'll more than knee-pads and a helmet. You'll also need an asbestos suit that is totally fire-resistant!
What a fascinating place and a terrible and wonderful history!
Look at the high ceiling and artwork on it, beautiful...Thomas
What a massive Church!

Beautiful! I like your angle! Thanks!
I think we could use some of your Romanesque/Gothic buildings here. They are spectacular! Thanks for the photo.
