Beautiful! Reminds me that years ago there was a popular song in the U.S. called something like "Have some Madeira my dear!" The point was the guy was trying to get his girl friend drunk on Madeira wine so he could have his way with her!
A distinctive tree and a perfect image.
Another place to visit:)
Qu'est-ce qu'une belle paysage!Cezar aime à prendre un verre de vin de Madère de temps en temps!Léia :)
Amazing, isn't it?LOL @ Jacob's comment!
I like the fan-like structure of the tree, the white bark looks beautiful.
What a gorgeous tree - the shape is so unusual and artistic and the photo eccentuates that beautifully. The green is so beautiful, too. Thanks for your info on La Samaritaine. It's news of almost tragic proportions if that can be said about a building. Will they save the shell or are they taking it down? If I had the time, I'd find all my photos of the grand dame, and publish a blog memorial. I may do that with the ones that are easy to locate. So, so sad. I never shopped there, but I loved the building.
what a cool shot!
