My camera seems to have become an extension of my amateur photographer eyes! All photos prior to 2007 are scanned and were taken with a Fuji camera.

Notre-Dame de Paris, France, 2010

This photo was taken a few days before the eruption of Eyjafjallajökull volcano.

And the skies were clear...

I'm impressed that you can spell the name of the volcano!

And the trash bin liner is really covering a fruit and veggie stand...the building doing the advertising is out of sight to the right...

A great view with a clear sky. It seems a long time ago, now.

It would be fun to see this contrasted with a shot of AFTER the volcano. Nice framing. Ciel.

Did you get any ash cover in Paris? My friends in Berlin said they did not really see any changes.

You didn't take a comparison photo? It would be interesting. I love this church from so many angles, and I have not taken this exact angle. It's a wonderful image with the blue and the turquoise.

P.S. I could hear that music many times, so I hope you leave it for awhile.

@ all: there wouldn't have been any point in taking comparison shots. We never saw any ashes. The only difference would have been no planes.
