Sunday Bridge Series: Pont Neuf, Paris, France, 2010

I have shown you and told you about the oldest Paris bridge Pont Neuf in this post where it was seen from the left bank of the Seine. This is the right bank side. More Sunday Bridges are this way.

It always amuses «Louis» that the "new bridge" (pont neuf) is actually the oldest in Paris and has been for many years now...

Of the 3 trips to Paris (all more than 20 years ago), we never did take a boat cruise. Something to plan for. Really a lovely capture - I like the splash of color very much.

It's so chic, I don't know why, but recalls the scene from the movie.

I really need to go back there. J'adore Paris. And Pont Neuf Bridge is just so iconic. [Ciel, I share your burden of too much work and too little time for this lovely past-time of blogging!]

Lovely idea about b&w, it gave a special touch in this picture and the bridge is wonderful with those arches!

I like the boat with the curved glass top, and it has the shape of the bottom of the bridge.

The Pont Neuf is always nice to see. I'm sure it's one of the most photographed bridges in the world.
