My camera seems to have become an extension of my amateur photographer eyes! All photos prior to 2007 are scanned and were taken with a Fuji camera.

Seen near the office, Arcueil, France, 2009

I am baffled. I had never seen purple berries on a shrub. Anyone know what they are?

I have no idea what they are, but the color is quite unique! Great find!

I believe they would be "Callicarpa Dichotoma" or "Purple Beautyberry".
(Thanks to my wife for helping me identify it.)

Spectacular plant! I can add these berries to the long list of the never seen before. Thanks to Don and Krise for solving the mystery!

I see we have a lot of plant biologists here. I'm glad Krise knew, because I also have no clue. I think they're gorgeous! I'd love to see that!

Yes they are beauty berry and I have a bush too! I LOVE them. I cut some branches in the fall and put them in a vase, they look wonderful amidst all the fall colors.
