Notre-Dame de Paris, France, 2010

You will notice that this was before the volcano eruption and was taken precisely because of the star in the sky. This screamed black and white to me, sorry VP!

This is a very creative composition...I've got lots of photos of Notre Dame, but none of this particular view. Excellent work, Ciel! Love the B&W, too!

I like the black and white, it works. Very nice.

This really does look good in B&W. Although I used to be a fan of black and white, I am currently in love with color. I think it works beautifully here, though. Like Jacob, I've looked at the back of ND so many times and taken many pix, but none looked like this. You've really captured something different.

And . . . this one's for you: http://tapirgalsdailyimage.blogspot.com/2010/04/para-ciel.html

I really like your idea of the Cathedral and respect your choice, but you know how I feel about this.

This one is nice in B&W. I've heard that the volcano has made the weather even better in Europe and that it's blue skies all around.
